Fun facts about OJ: he plays the clarinet, is a fantastic chef, gardens like no other, and knows how to speak Chinese. Oliver-John Bright found himself at a highly diverse university in Somerville, MA which led him want to explore the world further. Along the way he learned that contrary to popular belief, studying abroad can actually be affordable, sometimes even CHEAPER than your normal semester in the US. OJ and Kelsey talked for so long that his episode had to be broken up into two episodes - this week OJ gives us a glimpse into what his life was like living and studying in a country that we as Americans learn very little about: China.

Age doesn’t have to be a factor for whether or not you can make travel happen. In fact, later in life might have you in a place where it’s even MORE accessible for you. Lorinda was born into a family that loved to travel so was fortunate enough to do more traveling at a young age than most do in a lifetime. However, after college once she got married and settled down, travel became somewhat of a thing of the past for her. This week we hear how closed doors can lead to new beginnings and that if you think you missed your chance while you were in your early twenties, odds are that you’re wrong, because we’ve got a whole lifetime to explore.
